ABS Brakes Problems
I'm not sure if they are broken, but the ABS light is on and I would like to know how to trouble shot to find out what is wrong
If you having a abs check light on then you will need to have your system scanned with a abs code scanner. Go to your vehicle dealer for this service, repairs can also be made there. Remember that brakes assure your safety so if you are unsure of your ability in this area don't risk it! It is not worth saving a buck for sacrificing saftey.
The only way to repair your ABS issue is to have someone with a ABS computer system code scanner. Scan your system for fault codes, and the codes will lead you to a problem. For the most part ABS components are very expensive, why guess at it when you can be precise. Some things are better left to the experienced professionals.
